Jennifer Lawrence News: 'Hunger Games' Actress Models Handbags for New Dior Campaign

Dior selected none other than Jennifer Lawrence to model the high fashion brand's new line of leather handbags. The handbags are a part of the brands new "Be Dior" campaign. Official photos of the Hunger Games actress were released yesterday, showing that Lawrence is still Dior's first choice as the actress to model their products.

Photographer Paolo Roversi told People Magazine that the photos were shot in an architecturally minimalistic location to capture the "natural aura of Jennifer Lawrence." The new handbags come in a variety of colors and textures with only four charms that spell out D-I-O-R as the repeated piece for the new line.

Lawrence's hair was styled to look messy but sleek. Each photo features Lawrence with a handbag in a variety of outfits. One photo shows Lawrence in a sleeveless white top with a mid-thigh black skirt, looking very professional as she holds a blue handbag. Another picture shows her in a green and white low-neck, knee-length dress that slits in front. She is posed with another handbag and black heels.

Lawrence has been a part of Dior since her first shot in 2013. Last year, she told French Magazine Madame Figaro that she didn't want to model along with acting at first.

She said, "At the beginning I told everyone, 'I'm an actress. I'm not a model. I don't want to do it,' It is only recently that I discovered the beauty of haute couture. The first Dior collection I attended by Raf Simons blew me away."

Jennifer Lawrence, besides staring in The Hunger Games franchise, has also had big roles in X-Men: First Class and X-Men: Days of Future Past, The Silver Linings Playbook, and American Hustle.
