Reports say that 24-year-old J-Law visited the Kosair Children's hospital on Christmas Eve to bring sick children some holiday cheer and a rallying spirit.

Lawrence was headed to her hometown in Louisville, Kentucky for the holidays, when she decided to make a quick detour. 'The Hunger Games' celebrity, known for her down-to-earth style and gracious nature, decided to head to the hospital.

That day, Twitter exploded with fan comments on the generous nature of this sweet star, as someone posted photos with Jennifer surrounded by little girls and some staff. The actress tweeted, "Happy day! Visiting the Kosair Children's Hospital

The visit was discreet and unannounced so as to avoid further stress to the children in the hospital or the staff. Lawrence dressed casually, in a loose cream-colored blouse and black pants. Lawrence is shown in several photos visiting families as well as children in their hospital rooms.

In one especially touching picture, Lawrence is depicted at the bedside of an ill little girl, with a thin tube helping her breath, but its her beautiful smile that really shines through in the photo.

The award-winning actress is no stranger to hospitals. Lawrence visited this children's hospital last year as well, and she has some more experience taking care of ill children. She used to work as an assistant nurse at her parent's summer day camp.
