Jennifer Lawrence News: 'Hunger Games' Actress Gives a Surprise Visit to Children's Hospital

'X-Men: Apocalypse' actress Jennifer Lawrence just became a real life superhero recently as she took a step back from her busy schedule filming the upcoming last film of the X-Men: First Class franchise in Montreal and visited a children's hospital.

No she wasn't all dressed up as Mystique from her character in the film just like what Johnny Depp did in Australia visiting patients as well all dressed up and made up as Captain Jack Sparrow of the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' but Lawrence was just simply her trying to make the patients smile.

She visited Montreal's Shriner's Hospital for Children where she took some time to interact with both patients and staff of the hospital. The star even graciously took photos with some of the children who were in wheel chairs and with casts.

Quite happy about their surprise visitor the Hospital posted the photos on their Facebook page writing, "A very special visitor stopped by our Canada hospital today," Shriners wrote on their official Facebook page. "Jennifer Lawrence is in Montreal filming a new movie and she made time to visit some of our #ShrinersCanada kids and staff. Everyone had a great time!"

Lawrence was seen wearing casual clothes with her blonde hair tied up so she could easily move and interact with everybody. She even signed a child's cast who was asking for her autograph. "You never know who might visit @ShrinersCanada ! Today, Jennifer Lawrence took time to see children at the hospital!" the Hospital also wrote on their Twitter account.

It seemed like it was a memorable day both for the actress who also played a heroic role in 'Hunger Games' as Katniss Everdeen and for the hospital staff and patients. Lawrence was said to be in Montreal, Canada filming 'X-Men: Apocalypse' which is scheduled to be in theatres on May 27, 2016.
