With only four months of dating behind them, Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin have apparently called it quits! While the reason for their recent break up still remains in the dark, news agencies speculate that things just didn't work out between the two A-list celebrities.

"It wasn't dramatic," a source recently told E! News regarding Lawrence and Martin's break up. The split was said to be non-dramatic since the former couple have no hard feelings with each other.

The romance was short-lived as it was speculated that the two were having difficulties with their insanely hectic schedules. Despite reports claiming that the Oscar-winning actress, 24, and the Coldplay rocker, 37 fell in love with each other, their relationship, as reported by many news agencies, was too complicated since so many things were going on in their individual lives.

Meanwhile, Martin's former wife and Hollywood A-list star Gwyneth Paltrow was reported to have not been surprised with her ex-husband's short-lived romance with Lawrence.

A source from Radar Online revealed, "Gwyneth wasn't surprised by it. She never thought the relationship was going to last because of their age difference. Jen is 24 and Chris is 37. Plus, Jen complained to Chris that she felt like the third wheel in their relationship because of all the time he spent with his kids."

Although the statements are all still unconfirmed by many of the parties involved, several news reports have led to speculating that the former married couple Martin and Paltrow are getting back together given that Martin had broken up with Lawrence.

Some rumors went as far as to suggest that Paltrow was the biggest hurdle between Lawrence and Martin.

A source told HollywoodLife, "Jennifer just couldn't compete and didn't want to. Chris is clearly not over Gwyneth and his main priority is his kids. Jennifer really respects him, but she wants a man of her own. And Chris has been spending lots of time with Gwyneth and their kids lately. It was just a bit too much for Jen. She doesn't want to be second to anyone. You can't blame her."
