Jay Z Wins Grammy Award and Sort of Thanks God 'A Little Bit' During His Acceptance Speech (VIDEO)

Hip-Hop entrepreneur Jay Z won a Grammy at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night for Best Rap/Song Collaboration, and in a rare public instance thanked God during his acceptance speech.

The Rap mogul was nominated for two awards in the Best Rap/Song Collaboration category for his songs "Holy Grail," which features Justin Timberlake and "Part II (On The Run)," which features his wife Beyoncé. "Holy Grail" beat out the couple's duo taking the Grammy.

Before announcing the nominees for Best Rap/ Song Collab, presenter Jamie Foxx apologized to Jay for gawking at his wife of almost six years backstage due to the couple's racy opening performance of them singing, "Drunk in Love." He then went on to announce that Jay was in fact the winner.

"I want to thank God, I mean, a little bit for this award, but also all the universe for conspiring and for putting that beautiful light of a young lady in my life," Jay said after jokingly slap boxing with Foxx.

Beyoncé meekishly sat in the audience admiring her husband while wearing a white lace/sheer dress that was extremely revealing.

Hoisting the golden trophy in the air, he then said, "I want to tell Blue, 'Look, Daddy got a gold sippy cup for you!'"

After sort-of thanking God, Twitter feeds began to flood with Illuminati allegations. Some said the rapper could not have possibly been in the Satanic cult because he said, "thank you." Others said that adding "a little bit" makes him a sure member of the sect. The rapper, who also goes by HOV, which is short for Jehovah or God, has long been rumored to be a part of the Illuminati, a secret society or cult of entertainers.

In 2010, Jay Z went on Hot 97's Angie Martinez radio show to officially address rumors that he is a member of the super-secret Illuminati, and a "devil worshiper."

"For the record, I of course believe in God, but I believe in one God. If people must know my religious beliefs, I believe in one God. I don't believe in religion. I don't believe in Christians or Muslims. I think all that separates people. I think it's one God. I think it's all the same God, and I don't believe in Hell. But as far as God, of course I believe in God," he said in the interview.
