Jay Z and Beyonce New Home News: Powerhouse Couple Bids on $85 Million Mega Mansion in Beverly Hills

With all the divorce rumors and the infamous Solange Knowles elevator fight months behind them, Jay Z and Beyonce seem to be past all the drama once and for all. Now, reports are saying that the dynamite singing couple is winning a bidding war on a California mansion, listed for $85 million.

Real estate sources told TMZ that Mr. and Mrs. Carter are on the verge of closing the deal for the estate, a 23,000 square foot mansion located in the highly-coveted Trousdale Estates area, which is one of the most exclusive parts of Beverly Hills.

The couple is one of the four bidders for the property, some of whom are also celebrities, but at present, Jay Z and Beyonce are the highest bidders.

The mansion initially came up in a quiet off-market listing in August, but came out publicly in the market in September, with an asking price of $85 million and a listing with the promise of an "overwhelming sensory experience unlike any you've felt before."

Sources claimed that the seller and the power couple are now only a couple of million dollars away from closing the deal, which is expected settle around $70 million.

Jay Z and Beyonce have already visited the home six times, and if all goes according to plan, the Carter family could be spending Christmas in their new $85 million dollar abode.

The mansion has eight bedrooms and 15 bathrooms, an underground garage for 16 cars, a movie theater that can seat 24 people, vast closets, a car showroom, candy room, and an extensive collection of artsy weapons, including a giant grenade, pistols and machine guns.

On a side note, Inside the house is a giant picture of James Dean with a motorcycle underneath and Yves Saint Laurent fire extinguishers.
