The recent news of Chris Brown being a father that surprised many are gaining much respect from his colleagues in the music industry including Jamie Foxx who is Brown's long-time friend. Foxx opened up about the matter and revealed that he couldn't be more proud that Brown is taking the responsibility.

After breaking silence about all the rumors, Brown finally shared his daughter to the world at his latest Instagram post showing a photo of his little girl writing, "I honestly never knew I could love someone as strong as I do. I'm gonna give her the world," as caption.

Afterwards, Brown's friend, Foxx recently praised the R&B singer of fatherhood. "I've known Chris since he was 15 years old and he would come to my house and kick it and party with my sister who has Down syndrome, and [he would] dance with her and people would ask me how I know Chris and I've known this kid since he was a pup," he shared with E! News.

Foxx is still quite close with Brown as the two collaborated in a song titled 'You Changed Me' for Foxx's new album, 'Hollywood' which will be released in May 18, 2015.

Foxx continued in his interview praising Brown for taking care of his daughter. "I just felt like, you know, in our business you could've thrown money at it. And to see him take that step and really take care of his daughter... that is not to be overly commended because it's what he's supposed to do, but you know how this business can be. I thought that, for him, to see his smile now is just different to me and I hope he doesn't mind me saying that. It was great to see that," Foxx said.

In a recent statement, Brown, who finally spoke up about all the fuzz regarding him fathering a child said, "God has blessed me with my twin #Royalty," Brown said revealing his daughter's name. "I wanna grow into a great man and take care of my family," he added.
