It was definitely a happy birthday for actor Jamie Foxx as he recently celebrated his special day with family, friends, and Kate Upton!

On that note, the actress and model went ahead and did a special rendition of Marilyn Monroe's "Happy Birthday" song to Foxx in New York.

It was a night of partying and drinking, up until the wee hours of the night last Saturday for Foxx and company. According to several reports, Foxx's 47^th birthday was a blast and the celebrant and Oscar winner was surrounded by a lot of fans as well.

The 22-year-old Sports Illustrated model, Upton made headlines when she took over the microphone and sang a version of "Happy birthday" to Foxx. Upton wore a slim fitting black dress while the celebrant, Foxx, was casual in his black sweater and grey and black scarf.

The two even held up a sign with Foxx's birth date and were all smiles for the photo. Reportedly, Foxx's close friend Russell Simmons was also in attendance. Reports also say that the fans held up gold letters which spelled out "Gold Digger" for Foxx as it was the famous Kanye West hit in 2005 featuring Foxx's vocals.

After all the drinking and singing, the party ended with Foxx being given a giant microphone birthday cake from the famous bakery, Empire Cakes, and of course, the actor blew out his 47^th birthday candle.

Foxx, before heading up to the party had a dinner celebration with his family and his 'Annie' co-star Quvenzhané Wallis at the Bodega Negra restaurant at Dream Downtown.

The actor seemed to have had a night to remember as he posted a photo on his Instagram from his birthday with the caption "Had a blast last night celebrating my birthday with good friends and family. #mustachegang @iamquvenzhane @conradhiltonhiphop," the actor wrote.
