James Bond 'Spectre' Film Release Date, Cast News: Sam Mendes Takes 'The Reins Again'
The 24th installment in the illusive and action-packed James Bond franchise will be released in U.S theaters on November 6th 2015, under the title 'Spectre'.
Sam Mendes has returned to direct the film, resulting in many fans rejoicing after his brilliance was showcased in the previous movie, 'Skyfall'.
"I am very pleased that by giving me the time I need to honor all my theatre commitments, the producers have made it possible for me to direct 'Bond 24'. I very much look forward to taking up the reins again, and to working with Daniel Craig, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli for a second time," said Mendes in an interview.
Keeping up with the 'Skyfall' formula, the supporting characters from the previous film have all been confirmed to reprise their roles. The charming Daniel Craig will once again don the role as 007, along with his team, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Rory Kinnear and Ben Whishaw.
'Spectre' has also promised us some exciting guest stars. According to Forbes, Christopher Waltz will make an appearance as Bond's nemesis, Oberhauser. Lea Seydoux, Dave Bautista, Andrew Scott, and Monica Bellucci will also be seen in the film.
"Monica Bellucci and Lea Seydoux are the new Bond girls, portraying the roles of Lucia Sciarra and Madeleine Swann, respectively," says The Latino Post.
"Scott is known to audiences from his role as Moriarty in BBC hit show Sherlock, starring Benedict Cumberbatch. WWE star Bautista was recently seen in Guardians of the Galaxy," read a report by The Hollywood Reporter.
Like many Bond films, fans can expect to see many extravagant destinations in this film. As also stated by the Hollywood Reporter, shooting will take place in Rome, London, Morocco, Mexico City, and the Austrian Alps.
On a side note, 'Spectre' will be released on October 23rd in the U.K.
