I'm In Love With A Church Girl hit theaters last month and received great feedback being called a smash Indie success in the Christian bracket. The film has released a soundtrack to the movie featuring gospel artist TobyMac, and surprisingly rapper Ja'Rule.

The soundtrack includes music from the movie along with tracks recorded specifically for the movie that reflect the themes of love, redemption, surrendering, and salvation. A slew of genres are heard on the album as well, contemporary, Latin rap, dance, pop, classic worship, gospel, and R&B will all be heard on the album.

Ja'Rule who's forte is Hip Hop and rap, has completed his first ever gospel track for the album. During an interview he spoke about the gospel record and what it means to his career:

"I don't want people to get a misconception of what it is. I'm taking baby steps and doing what I'm doing with [my faith], but it's a work in progress. Don't expect me to make gospel records tomorrow. I'm still going to make the records that I feel in my heart, tell the truth. True to life stories or true tales of what I'm going through and what I struggle with on a day to day basis."

"I will have a more conscious thought process when I am making certain records. You know I am a role model and people are looking up to me and watching everything that I do and say."
