Xiaomi Mi Mix is touted to be the next iPhone 8 when Apple has yet to announce the release date for its next flagship. Let's look at the specs and comparison between the two smart phones.

The display screen of the Xiaomi Mi Mix is a monster 6.4 inches. The bezel-less screen reportedly makes up 91.3% of the phones face. Now, if you can overlook the weird front snapper at the bottom of the display, then this would be a good phone for you.

If we are talking about the price, however, there would be no comparison between the Xiaomi Mi Mix and the iPhone 8 as the former only hovers around $500 while the latter starts at $649.

As for the specs of the Xiaomi Mi Mix, it's going to make whatever Apple will put into the iPhone 8 a run for its money. For instance, it's powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821, which is the same as Google Pixel, along with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

Unlike the iPhone 8, the Xiaomi Mi Mix will still have the audio jack. It will also feature a fingerprint scanner at the back. All those goodies will be powered by 4400mAh of battery.

For comparison between the specs of Xiaomi Mi Mix and iPhone 8, the latter is supposed to be a big deal because 2017 would be the 10^th anniversary of the flagship, said MacWorld. It will probably run the new A10 chip of Apple with OLED screen. There's no word yet on the display size of the iPhone 8.

As to the battery life of the iPhone 8, the best word to describe it is "sufficient" if all the rumors about Apple not putting too much stock on battery life rather than the design and innovations of its 10^th anniversary phone.
