iPhone 8 Rumors: OLED Apple Facility In Northern Taiwan?
As different smart phones compete for sales stocks, Apple was allegedly accused with building a secret facility in Taiwan. Speculations suggest that Apple aims to dominate the market by manufacturing secret devices in Taiwan.
Report from HNGN says that the Apple operation is so secret that even the occupied building has no name for indication of the company. In addition to the report, a mysterious infrastructure operating in a remote area near Longtan, Northern Taiwan is allegedly making a scientific research for technical development.
According to sources, the well known big company Cupertino, Calif., did technical studies in the area that hoped to enhance the iPhone and iPad. Apple hoped to make it thinner, lighter and energy sufficient.
With 50 workers currently employed, the allegation against Apple is strengthen with the fact that engineers from gigantic companies who have work with Apple like AU Optronics and Qualcomm are currently working inside the area.
In addition to the allegations, authorities suspected that Apple is right now developing an OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) Technology for the upcoming iPhone 8 as cited in HNGN blog.
Moreover, it was rumored that Apple will be using OLED for the iPhone display to begin the application in iPhone 8.
Other than iPhone, OLED is not new to other manufacturers as some used it in producing smart phone. Well known phone developers such as Samsung, Japan Display and LG are just few of the companies who supply OLED technologies in the market today. Meanwhile speculations revealed that by 2018, Apple will hopefully release OLED devices to the public.
