iPhone 7 Release News: No More Home Button, Dual-Camera Setup Possible?
With the launch date just around the corner, the news reports on the iPhone 7 seemed to have intensified.
One of the most pervasive rumors now is that Apple is dropping the old home button feature in the new phone. The company is reportedly working on perfecting its haptic feedback technology in lieu of the old-school home button.
It's widely recognized that Apple usually release products at the start of the fourth quarter in order to take advantage of the holiday rush. The launch date of the iPhone 7, according to several news channels, is most likely going to be next month.
Aside from the pressure-sensitive technology, the Apple is also rumored to ditch the audio jack system for the new flagship. That means users will have to use Bluetooth in order to listen to their music. One of the main reasons for doing away with the audio jack is to realize the company's vision to make the iPhone 7 its slimmest yet.
Meanwhile, Bloomberg shared the news regarding the iPhone 7's dual camera setup for sharper pictures. Consisting of two sensors, they will focus on different hues when the owner takes photos. The result is a more crisp, clear and bright image. However, the dual camera feature will only be available for the more expensive model.
In terms of design, it appears that the iPhone 7 will look very similar to the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S, based on the leak photos carried by tech news websites. The size will also be the same, the 4.7-inch model and the 5.5-inch screen size.
