iPhone 7 Release Date, Specs Rumors: Designer Martin Hajek Presents Two New iPhone 7 Designs

Even though Apple has only recently released their new handsets, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, rumors are already beginning to surface about the next version, an iPhone 7.

While any speculation into the details of the iPhone 7 cannot be confirmed, there's some interesting concepts that are being discussed on tech forums. One rumors about the iPhone 7 considers the possibility of an edge-to-edge display screen on the device.

According to Christian Today, the concept was visualized by designer Martin Hajek, who enlarged the display screen at all four edges of the device. In addition, the concept shows that the device will have a touchscreen front panel with four icons next to the home button.

The concept image of the purported iPhone 7 displays icons for the camera, spotlight, Bluetooth and lockscreen. Nevertheless, the icons will adjust depending on the feature or the app one is using.

It is said that Hajek has visualized two different possibilities regarding the look of the next iPhone.

While once concept shows a full screen, the second one displays the device having slender edges. In addition, the upcoming device will incorporate a number of features of the existing iPhone models, including the TouchID fingerprint sensor, camera as well as the power and volume buttons.

In the second concept which shows the iPhone 7 with narrow edges, the earpiece of the handset is positioned on the top of the smartphone, instead of the top of the screen.

There are rumors that the iPhone 7 will incorporate a number of innovative features like 3D screen display along with a sapphire covering, an organic battery, and a built-in projector. It is expected that the iPhone 7 will be much more costly compared to the existing iPhone models owing to the inclusion of these high-tech features.

Although Apple has yet to make any announcements regarding the iPhone 7, it is expected that following the pattern of iPhone releases, the company may announce the launch of the device sometime in September 2015.
