iPhone 7 Release Date, Rumors, Specs: Set To Hit Market In March Or April; Thinner Look With Hack Free Feature
In line with rumors about Apple's iPhone 7, some photos of its chassis have surfaced online and hinted about its size, along with some rumors that the device is set to be hack free.
The French website No Where Else has showed a number of images online, which show the chassis of the upcoming iPhone 7. As per the publication, the said chassis can accommodate a screen of 5.2 inches, which could change the face of the upcoming device and the succeeding mobile product line of the Cupetino-based company.
The chassis might also be for Huawei's P9, which indicates that the iPhone 7 may not get a new look; however, fans do look forward for a revamped look of Apple's upcoming iPhone model.
According to Softpedia, Apple's iPhone has two faces, the 4.7-inch variant and the 5.5-inch variant. As per the publication, a 5.2-inch variant might initially be less logical, but it could be the fate of Apple's future phones when it comes to consistency, not to mention that the Cupertino-based company is also releasing a 4.0-inch phone model.
In other news, the iPhone 7 is also rumored to be unhackable, since Apple is reportedly working on new security approaches to bar public and private services from penetrating the integrity of the device's system, as per New York Times. According to the publication, the Cupertino-based company is debating with the United States government over an order about an unlocked iPhone used in terrorist attacks, which killed 14 people.
The iPhone 7 is rumored to receive a thinner look, along with a backup design resembling the iPhone 6's. The device is also believed to hold waterproof features with its chassis and self-healing elastomer, which covers its ports. It also has a pressure sensitive 3D touch screen display, along with a Touch ID fingerprint sensor.
A dual camera array with DLSR-quality images with optical zoom, along with wireless charging properties are also additional features of the iPhone 7, as per rumors.
Apple's iPhone 7 is assumed to hit the market in March or April, along with the iPhone 5se and Apple Watch 2.
