iPhone 7 New Specs & Release Date Rumors: Flagship Device Likely to Appear as 6s or 6c Model?
Taking from hungry tech consumers, speculation over the next new iPhone has everyone wondering what new trick Apple will pull out of their hat. Recent news and rumors have been compiled to give us an idea of what to expect and when.
As with Apple's pattern, a new iPhone is expected to drop as soon as this September. Whether this is the iPhone 6S or iPhone 7 is unknown, however it is more than expected to be a 6s or 6c.
The newest model, iPhone 6, featured a bigger screen than previous models, along with a Plus model with an even bigger screen. Macworld had some words on what we can expect with the next phone:
"Apple would be smart to do each size, but they likely will just do two sizes and shy away from the 4-inch screen. The 5s is the only iPhone that retains the 4-inch size, but the iPhone 6 jumped up by 0.7 inches and the iPhone 6 Plus by a full 1.5 inches. The Plus may have been too big for some users, but Android has proved that big phones are in."
3D display is now on the table for discussion for the next iPhone, along with a better camera. The iPhone 6's camera almost had no difference than the previous one at 8MP. Rumors have suggested the next camera will be capable of taking DSLR pictures.
Some new expected features include wireless charging that was unable to make it to the iPhone 6. A new operating system, iOS9, along with a new processor, the A9.
"Samsung is already being pegged as the supplier of Apple's A9 processor for its next generation of smartphones. The processors are expected to be manufactured using a 14-nanometer design. The new chips are expected to be smaller, more efficient and of course more powerful," writes Macworld.
More news on the anticipated device should arrive later this year.
