iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus Release Date, Rumors: High-End Version Features Wireless Charging?
Recent news about the iPhone 7 offered no changes to the release date of the much anticipated Apple device. Meanwhile, the higher end variation may feature wireless charging capability.
According to PC advisor, the release date for the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus may be on Sept. 13. However, Apple could even move that date to Sept. 6 just for the fact that the company likes to launch its devices on a Tuesday.
Meanwhile, new leaked images purportedly of the new iPhone 7 Plus hint of a smart connector that will allow for wireless charging. If true, that's the kind of innovation that Apple users want to see considering that the design seems to be similar except for some changes.
The Telegraph shared the news about the iPhone 7 being waterproof, and by all indications this seems to hold true.
It was already reported that the audio jack will be retained, contrary to previous rumors that claimed it will be abandoned in favor of a thinner body frame. But then some blog sites have insisted that the audio jack won't be included in the new mobile.
The iPhone 7 Plus also seems to feature to a dual camera based on the leaked images, which may means optical zoom capability.
It should be noted that all the info everybody has at this point can be speculative, despite news reports confirming some of these rumors. Apple has always been secretive about its products prior to the release date, and the same goes for the iPhone 7.
