iPhone 6S Update News: Leaked Images, Teasers Reveal Device’s Display and Rear Panels [VIDEO]

Even as tech enthusiasts and experts wait eagerly for Apple Inc.'s upcoming iPhone 6S, two videos of the device have appeared online, revealing its display and rear panels.

According to IB Times, the European re-seller of Apple products Mac Maniack has released video that compares the display panel of the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6. According to Mac Rumors, the dimensions of the iPhone 6S and its predecessor, the iPhone 6, are expected to be the same.

The video clearly shows the FaceTime camera as well as the proximity sensor of the upcoming device at the very same spot. In addition, the video also reveals the physical Home button, while the Touch ID sensor will be integrated to the device's LCD screen. At the top left corner of the device, one can see a new connector for the Force Touch hardware. According to 9to5 Mac, this feature will allow users to access shortcuts in various applications.

The second video displaying the rear panel of the purported iPhone 6S was released by Unbox Therapy. This leaked video reveals how Apple has worked to strengthen the new rear panel for the iPhone 6S with a view to avoid Bendgate issues. Apple Insider reported that the part surrounding the buttons as well as the cut-outs on the rear panel is thicker compared to those on the iPhone 6.

In addition, the second video reveals that the iPhone 6S will be somewhat larger compared to the iPhone 6, having a thicker chassis built with Series 7000 aluminum alloy.

In terms of the rumored specs of the iPhone 6S, it is expected that the upcoming device will be powered with Apple A9 chip and come with 2GB of RAM. The device is also likely to feature a faster LTE chip and will come pre-loaded with iOS 9. It is expected that the iPhone 6S Plus and the iPhone 6S will be announced Sept. 9.

According to rumors, Apple may also unveil the 4-inch iPhone 6C at the launch event on Sept. 9.
