While Apple Inc. has confirmed that it will be rolling out the latest Force Touch feature to all the new MacBooks in the trackpad, there are now rumors that the feature may also be incorporated in the future iPhones.

Precisely speaking, the Force Touch is a latest technology that reads the force of a press on the device enabling it to perform different functions, subject to how much force the user actually applies.

In fact, users are accustomed to dissimilar functions ranging from a tap to a long press, but they have yet to be accustomed to with the pressure or force of each tap. Therefore, it remains to be seen how exactly the new function will work in reality.
