While Apple Inc. has confirmed that it will be rolling out the latest Force Touch feature to all the new MacBooks in the trackpad, there are now rumors that the feature may also be incorporated in the future iPhones.

Precisely speaking, the Force Touch is a latest technology that reads the force of a press on the device enabling it to perform different functions, subject to how much force the user actually applies.

In fact, users are accustomed to dissimilar functions ranging from a tap to a long press, but they have yet to be accustomed to with the pressure or force of each tap. Therefore, it remains to be seen how exactly the new function will work in reality.

Nevertheless, Apple seems to be very confident that the latest technology will succeed and, hence, the company is reportedly planning to incorporate the feature in the next iPhone that it will launch.

Sources told The Wall Street Journal that Apple is likely to launch the Force Touch when it makes an announcement regarding a new handset its iPhone series. In all possibility, the purported iPhone 6s will be the first smartphone to incorporate the new technology.

In fact, the Force Touch may prove to be an intriguing feature on a smartphone display, as it will allow different functionality within an assortment of apps - something similar to smartphones with Bluetooth styluses and smartpens.

On a side note, and if the latest rumors are to be believed, Apple is also likely to bring out a pink version of the iPhone 6s.

The same sources also revealed to The Wall Street Journal that Apple is considering offering a pink version of the upcoming iPhone. The move to introduce a pink colored iPhone comes just a few months after the company adapted a new trio of metallic colours for the iPhone.
