iPhone 6 Mini Rumors, Latest News: Apple Reportedly Working on New Model with Smaller Screen Display
The release of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus last September was one of the most successful events in the history of Apple Inc. While these two smartphones with larger screen displays have been accepted well by the consumers, the company is now planning to launch smaller versions of their flagship smartphone in the near future.
Quoting a report by Feng, a Chinese tech website, the Cupertino-based tech titan is purportedly working on a new model of the iPhone 6 with a smaller display screen.
The website also quotes a report by Electronic Times of Taiwan saying that Apple decided to go for an iPhone 6 with a smaller screen display with a view to fulfill the needs of users with smaller hands. Many think that the move may possibly be Apple's response to the clamor of a section of the consumers demanding the return of the normal size iPhones, as they claim to be facing problems while using the larger smartphone with just one hand.
In fact, the Feng report is not surprising, as it is already known to many that Apple is preparing to launch smaller smartphones than its competitors whose phones run on Android. In fact, even the company's former CEO, the late Steve Jobs, believed a smartphone with as smaller display screen is better, as it enables users to easily navigate through it using only one hand.
Apple insiders have revealed that the company is currently engaged with a project that will purportedly be known as the iPhone 6s. The upcoming iPhone 6 model may look similar to the iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, and the iPhone 5s.
It is speculated that the smaller iPhone 6 model will incorporate all the features present in the existing iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, including the Touch ID. Moreover, a smaller iPhone 6 would mean that it will be more affordable.
