iPad Pro 2 Release Date News, Rumors: Oct. 27 Launch Is Not Going To Happen?
The release date for the iPad Pro 2 has been rumored to be on Oct. 27 during Apple's big event. It should be noted, however, that the Cupertino-based company has not confirmed all the speculation regarding the launch.
It's not surprising though since Apple typically doesn't talk about its upcoming products.
That doesn't stop all the tech news sites from predicting the release date of the iPad Pro 2 on Oct. 27. In fact, not just one device will allegedly be introduced on that day, but three: the 9.7-inch Pro, the 12.9-inch Pro and the 10.5-inch display model.
According to GameNGuide, the specs of the iPad Pro 2 includes the A9X chipset, which is the same chip that is running the iPhone 7. But there are also rumors that it might be upgraded to the new A10X.
Other features of the new iPad Pro 2 will include its 12 MP primary camera and its 5 MP front-facing snapper. Stay tuned for more news and updates about the upcoming Apple event.
The A10 is clocked at 2.23 GHz, although there are reports it can run at up to 2.45 Ghz. In contrast, if the iPad Pro 2 will run the A9 chip, it's going to clock at 2.2Ghz.
However, MacWorld is claiming the Oct. 27 is too short a window for Apple to announce the release date of the iPad Pro 2, considering the original iPad is only a little more than one year old. But then again, the March 2017 launch is also too far away to unveil the new device.
Watch out for iPad Pro 2 news and rumors, which will be reported here when they come along.
