iOS 8 Update Battery Life Drain Problems, WiFi Connection, and Gadget Speed Issues Reported by Users

Over the past few weeks, since Apple released its latest iOS 8 update, there have been many Apple product users reporting issues they've had with their devices after installing the latest software update.

Apparently, users have complained about the software's effect on battery life, WiFi connectivity, and even the speed of the actual gadget after installing Apple's latest iOS 8 software. Some have even noticed that the battery life is consumed twice as fast with iOS8 when compared to iOS 7.

Also, several have complained about having difficulty in their WiFi connections and that at times, the iPod Touch crashes since apps are slower than usual. Also, Apple itself has reported that 40% of their users still haven't upgraded to iOS 8.

That is quite a big percentage that seems to be unimpressed with the latest software update.

However, there are certain features that the iOS 8 offers which helps with the user's battery life, WiFi usage, and speed. There is the tool in the iOS 8 settings which track what apps or services that eat up the battery life.

Another is the consideration that the WiFi connectivity may be affected not by the iOS 8 software, but by outside factors like older routers or network outages. But according to several reviews the iOS 8.1.1 version improves upon all the reported WiFi and Bluetooth connection problems.

Meanwhile several have had problems with regards to the speed of their gadgets after installing iOS 8. It was noticeable that there was a drop in speed on the iPhone 5, iPhone 4s and iPad 2. But reports suggest that the software may be simply slower for the older gadgets.

That means that iOS 8 should run at an adequate speed on newer devices like the iPad and iPhone 6
