'Insurgent' New Trailer News: Emotional 'Divergent' Sequel Clip Released on Twitter [VIDEO]
While fans wait for the film adaption of Veronica Roth's successful young adult dystopian novel Insurgent, Summit studios released a clip that is sure to bring a few tears and several sighs of relief to viewers.
In the clip, Tris, played by Shailene Woodley, and Four, played by Theo James, are having a heartfelt discussion about Tris' worth. Tris feels responsible for all of the deaths that happened in the last film. Four, her boyfriend, tries to convince her otherwise.
"I'm not worth it," Tris says.
To which Four replies, "No, you are worth it. You are worth it to me. You have to promise me that you're not gonna leave. I want you to promise me that you won't go."
Tris, on the verge of tears, holds Four's face in her hands. The clip then fades to black.
After a couple of confusing trailers, fans of the film were worried that the movie would stray far away from the book. However, fans have received this latest clip of Tris and Four with relief and pleasure as it focuses more on their relationship that is so evidently shown in the book. Since its release on Wednesday, the small clip has received over 73,000 views on YouTube.
Insurgent follows the events that happened at the end of the first film, Divergent. Tris and her friends, as well as many other survivors, have to overcome many social obstacles as they try to find allies with the remaining factions after Jeanine, from the Erudite faction, tried to enable genocide using a type of mind control over the Dauntless, which is where Tris, Four and other friends are from.
Insurgent hits theaters on Friday, March 20.
