The trailer for the third installment of the 'Insidious' franchise has just been released, and it appears that the next chapter will be just as hauntingly terrifying as the first two.

The film series has built itself on being one of the most popular and successful horror franchises in a long time. The movies take viewers into their otherworld known as "The Further," and introduces its hostile phantom inhabitants. The next film puts us into lives of another unsuspecting family.

"This upcoming film focuses on a teenage girl and her family who move into a new home. Their nightmarish experience predates the haunting of the Lambert family in the two previous movies, and it will also reveal more mysteries of the otherworldly realm The Further," writes Geek Tyrant.

The movie will star Dermot Mulroney and Stefanie Scott, Lin Shaye, Angus Sampson, and Leigh Whannell.

'Insidious: Chapter 3' is scheduled to release in theaters on May 29^th.
