'Inside Out' Premiere Date, News: Pixar Releases New Character Posters for 2015 Animated Film

In preparation for the movie 'Inside Out', Disney Pixar has released special character posters portraying Riley's different emotions that will be showcased in the upcoming animated feature film.

The different characters portrayed in the poster include Joy, who will be brought to life by Amy Poehler, Anger played by Lewis Black, Disgust played by Mindy Kaling, Fear voiced by Bill Hader and Sadness, played by Phyllis Smith.

The main character of the movie, Riley, will be played by 'The Shifting' star Kaitlyn Dias.

Meanwhile, a limited edition French poster of the 'Inside Out' movie has been released, and was given the title 'Vice-Versa'.

The idea for the movie was presented in 2011 at the D23 Expo, and its working title was 'The Untitled Pixar Movie That Takes You Inside The Mind'. The following year, an article from Bleeding Cool reported that Pete Docter would be directing a new film called 'The Inside Out'.

Finally, ComingSoon reported on Feb. 8, 2013 that the movie will be officially called 'Inside Out'. The report was proved to be accurate because on April 17, 2013 during Cinema Con, Disney Pixar officially announced over Twitter that the title of the movie was indeed 'Inside Out'.

'Inside Out' will be Pixar's fifteenth feature film, under the direction of Pete Docter. The movie will be co-directed by Ronnie del Carmen, with Jonas Rivera as producer.

For those that may now already know, the movie will take its viewers inside the mind of an 11-year-old kid named Riley.

Riley is going through a tough time growing up, especially when she was uprooted from her Midwest life and brought to San Francisco. Riley is guided by her emotions; joy, fear, anger, disgust and sadness, who lives in the control center of her brain, called "The Headquarters." The different emotions serve as her guide as she goes through her everyday life.

'Inside Out' will premiere in theaters on June 19, 2015.
