However, it pointed out that there were some instances when the website has been wrong. Nevertheless, there were other tech websites that reported the same thing: the release date of the iMac 2016 would be on Oct. 27.

Again, this could be a case of different websites reporting on the same rumor. It's hard to believe the information 100% about the iMac 2016 release date without any confirmation from Apple. Of course, that's not going to happen knowing the Cupertino-based company's propensity to keep any information on product launches close to its chest.
