If one is really born to be a star, he will be one no matter what he does. In acting, Idris Elba is already a phenomenon as the British star is one of Hollywood's leading actors and just recently, Elba proved to the world that he is one of the best drivers as he broke U.K.'s land speed record.

Elba, who drove a stylish Bentley car in a beach in Wales, broke the previous 180.4 miles per hour record to a whopping 186.7 miles per hour U.K. Land Speed record. This just proves how Elba is indeed talented in almost everything that he puts his mind on achieving.

Elba also made Bentley happy and shed some more limelight on the car as he also broke Bentley's 174.2 miles an hour Continental GT Speed. The record was a big deal for many since it was originally set by Sir Malcolm Campbell in his Blue Bird land speed record car in 1972 and broken only now by the famous Hollywood British actor.

Although it has still to be confirmed on the many more details of the record breaking gig that Elba just made but it has been reported that the whole race will be aired in a new show which stars Elba. Apparently, the 'Luther' star will be having a new series in Discovery Channel titled: 'Idris Elba: No Limits'.

Well, the title was already given credibility as Elba achieved the race and broke the record made 88 years ago. The series is reportedly going to premiere in July but it is however still not final and news agencies and several of Elba's fans are still waiting to know the exact premiere date so they can view how Elba did the record-breaking sport.

Fans are now even more anxious why Elba can't be the next James Bond from the hit movie series as he is very action-packed.
