'I am Setsuna' News: Gameplay Unveils Blend Of Dynamic Battlefield and Winter-Themed Soundtrack?
The gameplay for Square Enix's upcoming video game "I am Setsuna" has revealed that it is packed with a sweet blend of strategy and combat skills.
According to Siliconera, "I am Setsuna," which has a mild resemblance with Square Enix's game "Chrono Trigger" and some classic role-playing games, has demonstrated its capacity to head to more complicated areas in order to keep the overall gameplay interesting, along with the application of different gaming industries and combat skills.
As per US Gamer, the combat style for "I am Setsuna" duplicates "Chrono Trigger's" Active Time Battle system, which lays the characters in a free-form manner and allows enemies to change position as the battle goes on. As per the publication, players can use some Techs, such as X-Strike and Backstab, to more about the battlefield.
Aside from the action, the audio for "I am Setsuna" also blended well with the game setting, according to the publication. It is known that the game is set in a land whipped by eternal winter and centers on an unnamed mercenary and the maiden named Setsuna, who has to offer herself as a sacrifice at a sacred shrine to sooth the violent demons in the locale. Also, the peaceful piano track suits the sad theme of the game.
"I am Setsuna" was released in Japan in February for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The video game is set to be released in Europe and North America in July 19 for the PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows via Steam.
