'Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2' fans have been eagerly waiting for details regarding the movie since Lionsgate Entertainment announced the film. On Friday, the studio released the first official trailer of the much-anticipated film with a view to quench the fans' thirst and give them an idea of what they can expect when the movie hits theaters in November this year.

According to IB Times, the latest video clip of 'Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2' may only run for 14 seconds, but it certainly packs lots of serious punch. The trailer gives the viewers a glimpse of what the heroine of the franchise, Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), is up against. In addition, the newly released video clip also reveals that Lionsgate plans to release another official trailer on Friday, July 24.

The first official trailer for the film was unveiled in June and it opens with a celebration as Finnick Odair (Sam Claflin) and Annie Crestra (Stef Dawson) tie the knot. However, it is unfortunate that things soon turn dark as Katniss gets ready to go into battle. She as well as her supporters march together to take on the Capitol. However, as things stand, it won't be easy.

As of now, there is very little information regarding the film, but fans were successful in picking up some important tidbits during the recently concluded San Diego 2015 Comic-Con.

On July 9, the cast of 'The Hunger Games' met for a panel discussion during which they talked about some vital plot details, how the writers as well as the director have tried to follow Suzanne Collins books on which the movie is based, in addition to a few special behind-the-scenes details. During the panel discussion, the cast of the movie revealed that Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and Gale (Liam Hemsworth) would be coming fact to face yet again in the upcoming film. Meanwhile director Francis Lawrence assured the fans that the movie will be as close as possible to the popular novel, which is the third in Collins' series.
