'Humans' Season 2 Cast News, Premiere Date: Niska's Family Searching For Their Place In The World [TRAILER]

The sophomore season of "Humans" features new cast additions and picks up several months after the events of Year 1, where Niska is still on the loose and in possession of the consciousness code.

In season 2, Niska's family will try to look for their place in the world, while Laura and Joe will do their best to patch things up with each other and fix their marriage. According to reports, the new season will also follow Joe, Laura and the entire family as they make a tough choice that might put their family under the spotlight.

The creators of the series have yet to confirm if Tudor, Pixie Davies, Lucy Carless, Theo Stephenson, Neil Maskell and Ruth Bradley will return for the new season to join the new cast additions, Carrie Anne Moss, Sam Palladino, Marshall Allman, Sonya Cassidy, Bella Dayne and Letitia Wright.

Previous reports confirmed that Carrie Anne Moss will portray a distinguished Artificial Intelligence expert named Dr. Athena Morrow. The official description for her character states that Dr. Morrow is driven by her desire to create a new type of machine consciousness. On the other hand, Palladio will play a struggling café owner named Ed.

Allman will play a young Silicon Valley billionaire named Milo Khourv; Cassidy will play the unique Synth named Hester; Dayne will portray a free-spirited young Berliner named Astrid, while Wright will play a bullied 17-year-old, Renie.

"Humans" season 2 is set to debut on February 13, 10:00 P.M. on AMC. Watch the trailer below.
