Hugo Sanchez Jr. Death News: Friends and Family Mourn the Loss of Super Star Soccer Player

Breaking news reveals that Hugo Sanchez Jr. was reportedly found dead at the age of 30 on Saturday. His lifeless body was found in an apartment in the upper class residential area in Mexico City, Mexico.

According to El Universal, Hugo's girlfriend went to his apartment to pay him a visit when she stumbled upon Hugo Jr.'s lifeless corpse and the body of an unidentified man and made a report to the authorities early Saturday morning. A Red Cross spokesman concluded that both Hugo Sanchez Jr. and the unidentified man died of gas intoxication.

Hugo Sanchez Portugal, more commonly known as Hugo Sanchez Jr. was the only son of legendary soccer player, Hugo Sanchez, who used to play for Real Madrid, but is now a soccer coach.

Like his father, Hugo Jr. was also a well known soccer player. He played for Mexican clubs Pumas, which he became a champion of the club in 2004, and Potro de Atlante.

Additionally, he also served as a sports commentator for Televisa. He was currently the director of Cultura Fisica y Deporte at the Miguel Hidalgo district that promoted youth sports. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Sanchez family for their sudden and shocking loss.
