Huawei P9, P9 Plus Price, Specs, News: Device Not Available In USA?; Vodafone UK Throws In Free Huawei Watch For Pre Orders

Huawei just revealed their newest smartphone, the Huawei P9 and it will be available in a couple of countries starting April 16. Huawei P9 will have a bigger edition, the P9 Plus which will also be released on the same date.

According to PC Advisor, the P9 will be available in selected countries such as Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, China, Czech Republic, Egypt, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Kuwait, Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates and UK. The phone will not be available in the US.

There will be two versions of the phone depending if you're in Europe or in Asia. The ones that are in Asia will have dual-SIM features while the ones in Europe would only have single-SIM devices.

The phone will already run on an Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 powered by its very own octa-core (4x 2.5GHz, 4x 1.8GHz, i5 co-processor) Kirin 955 processor which is supplemented by 3GB of RAM. There will also be a 128GB version but will only be available in Asia.

Also, according to pocketnow.com, Vodafone UK will throw in a free Huawei watch for every pre-order of the brand new phone. The watch costs around £290 in the UK.

The camera at the back will have a Dual 12 mega pixel (Mono + RGB) while at front, a 8 mega pixel camera for taking selfies and video conversations. The Huawei P9 costs around £483/£524 while the P9 Plus would be around £604.
