Huawei Android Watch, News Rumors: Three Wearable Devices & Tablet Unveiled at MWC 2015?

Even as all eyes are on the launch of the much anticipated Apple Watch, Chinese networking and telecommunication equipment manufacturer Huawei is reported to be getting ready to launch its Android-run smartwatch in near future.

Christian Today reports that recently the Chinese tech manufacturers confirmed to WIRED that the company will be launching a series of wearable devices throughout 2015. These will include a smartwatch that will run on Google's Android Wear. The company also told the website that it plans to launch innovative products that other tech manufacturers are yet to feature.

The tech website quotes Huawei CMO (Devices) Shao Yang saying "One thing that is very important for us is to be different. For the wearables we are not trying to bring similar solutions."

Yang further confirmed that he is confident that Huawei's development strategy for its flagship devices will earn the interest of consumers and these devices will also be used for the wearable and tablet devices. Huawei's development strategy includes launching three new wearable products, in addition to a tablet during their scheduled press conference at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona.

A slide displaying Huawei's upcoming Android Wear smartwatch features a black, circular face device that is very similar to the LG G Watch R, which was unveiled recently. Jerry Huang, Huawei marketing communications director, however, revealed to Pocket-lint that their Android Wear smartwatch will be very different from the LG G Watch R or for that matter any other wearable devices available in the market now. According to him, Huawei Android Watch will have a more stylish look.

Huawei's press conference during the upcoming MWC is scheduled on March 1.
