According to Wareable report, Vive is depicted as a virtual reality based headset. The consumer version of Vive should be out by April 2016. Two controllers, lighthouse base stations, ear buds and some copies of the games "Job Stimulator: The 2050 Archives and Fantastic Contraption" comprise the HTC Vive Bundle.

The consumer-based and pre-order based Vive don't differ much, in terms of specs and design. However, word has it that these specs and design have yet to be confirmed by the manufacturer.

Wareable describes the consumer version of HTC Vive as follows:

"The updated design for the consumer release is much smaller and more comfortable to wear, with swappable foam inserts and what it's calling a nose 'gasket', as well as adjustable straps to get the fit right. And yes, you can use it with glasses."

Meanwhile, IT Pro UK reported that in Europe, Vive is set to be priced at 899 Euro.
