HTC Tablet Specs & Release Date Rumors: First HTC Tablet Unveiled on April 8?
The Taiwan-based tech company might be unveiling their plans for the well-awaited HTC tablet on April 8 together with the launch of the HTC One M9 according to rumors.
The China-based twitter handler @upleaks had recently dropped cues about the brand's new tablet in February saying, "The 1st HTC branded Tablet will be based on the Nexus 9, dimension is almost same. but spec...And you won't see it in Q1 2015." Despite that the hype seems subtle as of the moment with HTC phones still streamlined on the broad phone arena.
This return could be remarkably impressive with competition across the tech industries racing towards better sales with the phablet and tablet demand.
Gizmochina released what consumers can expect with an HTC tablet, also named as HTC T1H, which includes an 8.9-inch glass display with 1530 x 2048 resolution. Moreover, the device would have 2GB worth of RAM and a Power VR SGX544 GPU for Graphic also used by Samsung Galaxy S4. Users can choose from a 16 GBA and 32 GB internal storage.
The camera would come in at 16 megapixel for the rear and 8 megapixel upfront. Allegedly, the phone could have a 9 inch display and would be 7.88 mm thin. It will start with the latest Android 5.0 and a Sense 7 user interface. The tablet will have two versions one running on Wi-FI and the other on LTE.
However, prior to the April 8 event, no official information has been made by the brand. But it is likely that surprises would be in store while the One E9 and One M9+ will be revealed tomorrow.
