HTC One M9 Price and Availability Rumors: Device to Come in 64GB Variant on March 16?
When the Taiwanese tech manufacturer HTC Corporation unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the One M9, about a week back, it did not surprise many, but it certainly impressed everyone interested. Media outlet Focus Taiwan has confirmed that the device will be available at retail stores in Taiwan from March 16 and will be sold in other markets later.
According to Tech Radar, HTC has already announced that One M9 will be available in a 32GB version with a microSD support that will help to expand the internal memory to 128GB. However, the company did not mention whether it will come out with other variants of the smartphone as well.
Nevertheless, one recent report suggests that HTC may launch a 64GB version of One M9 later this year.
It may be recalled that the original HTC One came in two variants - 32GB and 64GB variants, while the HTC One M8 dropped down the internal storage to either 16GB or 32GB.
The report by Focus Taiwan further adds that while the price of the HTC One M9 will be NT$21,900 (US$693) in the domestic market, the 64GB version will be priced at NT$23,900 (US$757).
The HTC One M9 comes with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 on a 5-inch footprint. It is equipped with a 2800mAh battery, while the 20-megapixel camera of the device is impressive. In addition, the BoomSound speakers of HTC One M9 are now imbued with Dolby power, for a virtual surround sound experience both with and without headphones.
