The images of HTC's new handset, HTC One M9 have leaked way ahead of the official announcement.

According to the images, the new handset bears much resemblance to its predecessor, HTC One M8. The only difference the images indicate is its change in camera, which is an improved 20.7-megapixel rear camera, according to Tech Trends.

The phone's official launch was set for the first week of March, as HTC usually uses the Mobile World Congress to unveil all its launches.

According to Gotta Be Mobile, the next handset is expected to be slightly thicker than last year. The battery is expected to be around for 3,000 mAh that will go on for about two days, and is expected to have a Quad-HD display with a sapphire screen that will make it all the mroe expensive. Along with 3 GB RAM, the phone is expected to have 2.3 GHz 8-core Snapdragon 810 processor. The phone is also said to have a 4 MP sensor.

HTC One M9 is also rumored to come with an edge to edge glass panel on its front. The speaker panels will no longer be exposed like they were in the original One.
