HTC One M9+ and HTC One E9+ News: Devices Now Available in U.S. via Amazon with $200 Discount

Finally, HTC has made the One M9+ and One E9+ available for customers in the U.S. through Amazon. The Taiwanese tech firm released the two handsets in China in spring and despite their availability through Amazon, HTC has announced that it will not release the smartphones officially in the U.S., reports IB Times.

Below are brief descriptions of the specs and features of both the smartphones to help potential customers decided which handset they would suit their requirements.

HTC One M9+

The HTC One M9+ available through Amazon sports a metal unibody and comes with a price tag of $799 unlocked. The device, which is the larger version of the HTC One M9 flagship released in March this year, is available in two color variants - gunmetal gray and silver gold.

The device is comes with a 5.2-inch Super LCD3 display, supporting Quad HD resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and is powered by MediaTek MT6795T chipset supported by 3 GB of RAM. The HTC One M9+ comes pre-loaded with Android 5.0.2 Lollipop overlaid with HTC Sense 7.0 UI. It also incorporates a fingerprint sensor.

The internal storage of the device is 32 GB, which is expandable up to 128 GB via a microSD card. This HTC handset boasts two rear cameras, one with 20 megapixels and the other with 2.1 megapixels. In addition, it comes with a front-facing UltraPixel technology-powered 4-megapixel camera.

Although The HTC One M9+ does not support U.S. LTE networks, users will require accessing 3G connectivity on the device through AT&T and T-Mobile, as it does not support 3G connections on the Verizon and Sprint networks. It is packed with a 2,840 mAh battery unit.

HTC One E9+

Compared to the HTC One M9+, the HTC One E9+ is bigger. The device comes in a plastic encasing and is available on Amazon for $499. Amazon is currently selling the device in two color variants - gray and rose white. According to the listing on Amazon, the device does not come with an international warranty.

The HTC One E9+ comes with dual-SIMs and a Super LCD3 display of 5.5 inches. The device supports a Quad HD resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The handset is powered with MediaTek MT6795M chip supported by 3 GB of RAM.

The internal and external storage support of The HTC One E9+ is the same as that of HTC One M9+, but it comes pre-installed with Android 5.0 Lollipop along with HTC Sense 7.0 UI. The handset boasts a 20-megapixel rear camera, while details regarding the front-facing camera are unavailable. Similar to the One M9+, this device also does not support 4G LTE in the U.S. The HTC One E9+ is packed with a 2,800 mAh battery unit.
