HTC One M8 Android Lollipop Update News: Google's Latest OS Available in Europe

Finally, the wait is over! For European HTC One M8 users, the Android 5.0 (Lollipop) update is not far away.

Last Thursday, HTC senior communications manager Jeff Gordon made the announced via Twitter, He asked if HTC One (M8) owners in Europe, have a sweet tooth this morning? If that's the case, then they should check their software updates.

According to Phandroid, in addition to HTC One M8, other devices such as HTC One M7, and Galaxy S4 is on the queue to receive the much - awaited Lollipop build, along with Verizon's Galaxy S5.

"We've been diligently working to fix some of [the software issues] on our end and incorporating Google's fixes as quickly as possible, but despite everyone's best efforts some carrier versions of the HTC One (M8) and HTC One (M7) will not meet our 90 day goal, which is February 1st," Mo Versi (HTC product manager) wrote, "While we are committed to delivering within this time period, we are even more committed to ensuring these updates result in an even better experience with your device because that is what the updates are intended to do."

For Canadian HTC owners, Versi has confirmed that an update will be carried out from Tuesday, February 03, 2015.
