HTC One M10 Release Date, Specs, Leak Rumors: Upcoming Device Arriving In April 2016, Expected To Launch In Two Different Variants?

With HTC One M10 expected to hit the market in the second quarter of 2016, the upcoming device is also expected to be released in two different variants.

On Jan. 21, MaximusHD ROM Developer LlabTooFer wrote on Twitter that HTC Perfume could be released on dedicated event. The developer also mentioned that the device would run Android 6.0.1 and Sense 8.0_GP on its launch.

LlabTooFer added that he was expecting two versions of the device. He mentioned Qualcomm 820 for the United States and Europe and the MTK based for China and Southeast Asia. The developer also confirmed with Twitter user Sebastian that Perfume was a codename for the device.

While LlabTooFer did not specific whether the MediaTek (MTK) variant was going to have a specific model, it is assumed that the variant would possibly come with a more recent chipset, according to Ecumenical News.

With regard to specifications, the upcoming HTC One M10 is set to come with a 3000mAh battery, along with a 23-megapixel rear camera, as per Techno Buffalo. The new device is also expected to be a water-resistant variant with its IP68 water-resistant rating. Together with Sense 8.0_GP, the HTC One M10 will also run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

According to another report from Techno Buffalo, the mobile phone company might hold an event in March to announce the device before it hits the market in April. The launch of the upcoming device may either stick or be launched later than April; nonetheless, HTC is aware that it could not fall behind its other mobile network companies.

Overall, the HTC One M10 is expected to be released in April.
