The HTC Desire 820, part of the Desire series, is being pegged as the Entertainment Smartphone, and is looking at a November 2014 release. The device according to Peter Chou of HTC is the culmination of the most advanced features that promise high quality entertainment for the user.

The smartphone has already debuted in India and is due for its release in China this month. The Desire 820 has been deemed as the flagship phone and is powered by 1 GHz Octa core Qualcomm snapdragon 615 with 2 GB RAM. The display screen is 5.5 inches and offers a screen resolution of 720 *1280 pixels with a color depth of 16 M resulting in high definition picture quality.

The Entertainment Smartphone offers an internal storage of 16 GB, which is expandable up to a whopping 128 GB making it possible to store all the user's favorite pictures, movies, and videos.

For snapshot happy folks the phone offers a 13 MP rear camera and a 8 MP front camera which should make the selfie obsessed users content.

The phone is compatible with 3G and 4G LTE and comes in 5 color variants. The device will be released with dual sim in a few countries and with single sim in the U.S. The pricing will be in between $400 to $450.
