The final episode of "How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 focused on the story of Wes, Aldred Enoch and the real identity of his father. Now that season 3 is just a few months away, there is already a whole slew of speculations as to what will be the focus of the upcoming installment.

One thing that fans of the series are curious about is how Wes will deal with the death of Rebecca. Although executive producer Pete Nowalk did not say anything about how much they will feature Rebecca in the next season, he noted that the new episodes will reveal the truth about her character.

According to Nowalk, the series will dig deeper into the storylines of Laurel and Connor, as well as the backstory of Michaela. The past two seasons featured her tumultuous relationship with Caleb and Asher. Since Caleb is already gone, fans will know if Michaela will be ready to give Asher a chance in season 3.

Another storyline that the upcoming installment will explore is the fate of Frank. In the finale of season 2, Annelise told Bonnie that Frank "has to go" as she planned to get rid of him. While Weil is perfectly capable of executing the murder considering how she killed Rebecca, fans have yet to know if she will be ready to rub out another character again in season 3.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Viola Davis, Alfred Enoch, Aja Naomi King, Jack Falahee, Liza Weil, Matt McGorry, Billy Brown, Conrad Ricamore and Charlie Webber will reprise their roles in the series.

"How to Get Away With Murder" season 3 is expected to premiere on September 22 on ABC.
