'How to Get Away With Murder' Season 3 News, Spoilers, Release Date: Frank Possibly Killed Wallace Mahoney?
Given all the incredible twists exposed in its final episode, it is undeniable that "How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 ended with a bang. While the September 2016 premiere of season 3 is still far-off, fans of the series are already thrilled to know what to expect for the next season.
The season 2 finale saw another casualty when Wallace Mahoney, Wes Gibbins' father, ended up being shot publicly by an unknown gunman just when he was about to talk to his son. Fans speculated that the perpetrator was actually Frank Delfino, who was one of the suspects behind the death of Annalise Keating's unborn child.
In his interview last month with TV.com, Peter Nowalk said it could possibly be Frank, since he has a motive for killing Wallace. Prior to Wallace's death, Frank learned that Wallace was the one who had caused the car accident that killed the baby of Annalise.
"I think I know who shot Wallace at this point and I will not tell you if you're right or not. I will say sometimes we like to shock you guys and sometimes we like to do what makes sense. It's all up for grabs," said the series creator.
However, Nowalk said there is a possibility for the murderer to still be changed, as this particular storyline has not been totally worked out yet.
"The murder is a mystery that isn't fully planned out yet. I used to think that Laurel shot Annalise and that changed to Wes," he said.
In other news, Oliver, played by actor Conrad Ricamora and who appeared in a few episodes in the first two seasons will be a regular cast starting season 3. Fans will find out more about his HIV diagnosis in the upcoming season.
"How to Get Away with Murder" season 3 will premiere on ABC in September 2016.
