When 'How to Get Away with Murder' Season 1 returns to ABC with episode 10 titled "Hello Raskolnikov," after a winter hiatus on Thursday, Jan. 29, at 10 pm EST, fan will see a surprise visitor. Otherwise episode 10 will begin from when the show ended in the previous season - the day when Sam (portrayed by Tom Verica) was murdered.

However, IBTimes reports that the recently released mid-season premiere official synopsis of "Hello Raskolnikov" suggests that it will not be an easy task to cover up the crime.

According to the synopsis, Annalise (portrayed by Viola Davis) will be seen employing her students to assist her in finding her missing husband. However, it is unlikely that Annalise would be telling her students that she discovered Wes (played by Alfred Enoch) as well as Sam's dead body when he went back to take the trophy. On the other hand, the synopsis says that she will try to find Sam pretending that she is not aware of the latest developments.

In fact, Annalise will be presenting as if she is innocent and force her students to follow her lead, but not disclose to them that she is aware of what they have done. Nevertheless, the synopsis points out that neither Annalise nor her students will find it easy to cover up Sam's murder.

The synopsis further teases that the cover-up will be hard for the group "when a surprise visitor shows up in town." Although the press release does not mention about any guest stars in the upcoming episode of 'How To Get Away With Murder', fans are already aware that some big names will be featuring the show. TVLine suggests that Marcia Gay Harden may perhaps be the surprise visitor in the upcoming episode of the show. On the other hand, TV Guide says it could be Cicely Tyson, who is supposed to be portraying the character of Annalise's mother.
