‘House Of Cards’ Season 5 Release Date, Spoilers: All Comes Tumbling Down For Frank And Claire Power Couple?

Tension between Frank and Claire exploded in season 4, now spoilers for "House of Cards" season 5 hinted that the end is near for the power couple.

Reddit user Changyang theorized that the fifth season of "House of Cards" might be its last.

"The deck is now complete after 4 seasons of 13 episodes; so the fifth will be about how the metaphoric house of cards come tumbling down," the Reddit user said.

Of course, he's referring to the deck of cards which has 52 pieces. And 13 multiplied by four equals 52.

In another spoilers theory on Reddit, Frank will die in "House of Cards" season 5 and Claire will take the reins as the main character.

"My immediate prediction would be that the first episode of season 5 will be Frank's funeral," the user said. "Multiple times in the last couple of episodes they mention his liver possibly rejecting and he gasps in pain numerous times. Seems like foreshadowing."

Frank's death is not as big of a spoiler as it seems, if the British series-the source of the "House of Cards" material-is to be based. It's not just clear if it's going to be in season 5 or not.

Frank Underwood's counterpart in The UK version of "House of Cards" was killed by Claire's counterpart who hired an assassin to do the job. But her actions was motivated still by love and the need to protect his image.

Bryce Olin of Fansided also agreed that "House of Cards" season 5 would be its last as he referenced the death of Francis Urquhart, the anti-hero in the UK version.

"From a narrative perspective, it makes sense to end after five seasons. I won't say why, because spoilers, but there's only two ways this series can end and we have known that the whole time," he wrote.

The official premiere date of "House of Cards" is not confirmed yet, but the series is coming back this month. Watch out for more "House of Cards" season 5 spoilers.
