'House of Cards' Season 4 Spoilers, Plot Rumors: Frank Underwood Kills Doug Stamper?

'House of Cards' Season 4 is on it's way to Netflix in the near future and fans of the series cannot wait to find out what's going to happen. Recently, reports have been claiming that the show's upcoming Presidential election is going to coincide with the actual U.S election in 2016.

Moreover the series showrunner Beau Willimon commented further on what connections viewers will be able to make in that regard. As it stands, he mentioned that any parallels drawn from the real U.S elections and the one depicted is strictly coincidental.

He went on to say that 'House of Cards' simply showcased similar ideas and events that would mirror an actual Presidential election. In his defense, the series' Season 4 episodes were created and filmed long before the closing of the POTUS election.

Beyond that, other spoilers have emerged but at this point they should be taken as rumor as nothing has been confirmed by any of the show's actors or cast. However, is a buzz going around that claims Doug Stamper is going to be killed of in the new season.

Additional rumors about that say that Frank Underwood himself is going to do the dirty work. Again, while this is mere speculation the other side of the story has also been presented.

Some say that it makes sense that Doug Stamper and Frank Underwood reunite in the upcoming season. There is the chance that Frank Underwood becomes the U.S President in the new election and Stamper takes on the position of his Chief of Staff.

Willimon also had a few choice words about what changes fans can expect to see in the upcoming episodes. He stated, ""We took a lot of risks with season three. We wanted to delve deeper into the emotional story. We wanted a little less political intrigue and a little more of the emotional flux. We wanted to tell the story of the marriage. I think there were a lot of fans that really appreciated that. And for a lot of them, this turn that we took made it their favorite season," according to EnStarz.

On that note all fans can do is wait for 'House of Cards' Season 4 to air on Netflix in March of 2016.
