'House of Cards' Season 4 Plot Speculation Spoilers: Will a Major Character be Killed Off in New Season?
Even as filming of the 'House of Cards' Season 4 is currently underway, fans of this hit American political drama television series have already started speculating that a key character will be killed off in the upcoming season of the show. Such speculations are said to be a fall-out of the current trend in TV series these days.
Christian Today reports that one such speculation hints at the possible death of Dough Stamper, the character portrayed by Michael Kelly.
A report from Deadline claims Kelly has revealed that he was a condidant of Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey), but the story may possibly change. This is an indication of the fact that nobody is actually safe from being killed off until the 'House of Cards' Season 4 airs officially early next year.
Meanwhile, show creator Beau Willimon has possibly hinted that Doug will not be killed off in the upcoming season, as he told Kelly, "Come on, I'm not getting rid of you."
According to the report in Deadline, Kelly has expressed his doubts that because he said in the same report that the show is 'House of Cards' and it is expected that major characters will be terminated.
Hence, fans are wondering whether Stamper will be out of 'House of Card' soon or are they mere conjectures. In any case, fans will have to wait till 2016 when the fourth season of the political drama will premiere on Netflix.
Earlier it was reported that 'House of Cards' Season 4 will introduce Neve Campbell as a new cast member. It was also reported that Campbell would be playing a recurring character in the series. However, as of now there is no detail regarding her character.
Even as Campbell's story continues to be a mystery, Movie New Guide reported that speculations are rife that Campbell's character, along with her partner, will become rivals with Frank Underwood for the coming elections.
The report suggests the possibility of the new couple will be urging Frank to seek his ex-wife Claire's help and in that case, the show may possibly see getting Frank and Claire back together.
Several other reports also claimed that 'House of Cards' Season 4 will focus more on the aftermath of the breakup of the Underwood couple. There are speculations that the two might even compete for the presidential seat.
However, nothing is certain yet and fans need to wait till next year to get the answers to all their questions from the previous season.
