'House of Cards' Season 3 Release Date, Leak News: All 13 Episodes Leaked onto Streaming Service
Fans are excited for Season 3 of "House of Cards' as it is all set to release via Netflix on Feb. 27, 2015.
With the main character Frank Underwood, played by Kevin Spacey, already the President of the United States, the audience is eager to know what is in store for them in the next of this political thriller.
The last season ended with many unexpected turns, which saw Doug Stamper, Underwood's trusted chief of staff, knocked unconscious after brutal attack by Rachel Posner. However, this season won't be seeing Stamper anymore, as he is declared dead, according to Starcasm.
A tweet by the showrunner Beau Willimon that said it was "pretty evident" that the character wouldn't be coming back.
Talking about the plot for the next season, Spacey said, "Well, I can reveal that there will be many scenes, and some of those scenes will take place in The White House, in an interview with the National.
According to Air Herald, the new season is set to feature new characters, with Jenna Stern playing the role of the ambassador to the United Nations.
Revealing the possible plot details, Jimi Simpson, who plays the hacker Gavin Orsday in the "House of Cards,' said that there may be a romantic story for his character in the upcoming season.
On a side note, 'House of Cards' Season 3 was accidentally leaked onto the streaming service early.
However, Netflix made sure the episodes were removed before too many fans saw them. Netflix also issued a statement through CNBC, saying, "This is Washington. There's always a leak. All 13 episodes will launch February 27."
