'House of Cards' Season 3 Premiere Date: New Installment to Return on Feb. 27, 2015 [VIDEO]

After a prolonged wait by the fans, Netflix has finally announced the premiere date of 'House of Cards' Season 3. According to a report by the Daily Mail, Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright will reprise to their roles as President Frank Underwood and First Lady Claire Underwood, respectively, in the third season of the popular political television drama that returns to the screen on Feb. 27, 2015.

According to Christian Today, Netflix had announced its decision to renew 'House of Cards' for a third season even before it premiered the shows second season this year. However, the network did not announce the premiere date of the Season 3 until recently. Now that the date has been confirmed, fans are happy that they will not have to wait too long to see Frank Underwood taking charge of Washington D.C. once again.

For the uninitiated, the storyline of 'House of Cards' focuses on the political career of President Frank Underwood, who has been plotting to acquire more and more power in the U.S. government after he was marginalized by people he called friends. His wife Claire has been supporting Frank's ambitions and has eventually turned out to be his co-conspirator. Frank and Clarie make a deadly combination and both Spacey and Wright are doing a wonderful job playing the two lead roles in the series.

In the finale of 'House of Cards' Season 2, fans saw Frank Underwood realizing his goal of becoming the President of the United States. Now, fans are wondering what he will do as the President. There are rumors that now Frank will deal with the ISIS issues, which will cover most part of 'House of Cards' Season 3. Nevertheless, the story of Frank is unlikely to end after becoming the world's most powerful man. There are likely to be new twists and turns in the plot.
