'House of Cards' Season 3 News: Series Leaks On Netflix Two Weeks Early

The anticipated return of the political drama leaked two weeks early on Netflix, but was almost immediately taken down.

10 out of the 13 episodes were available for streaming on Wednesday and remained on the network for at least 20 minutes.

Netflix has reported this as a "glitch in the system".

"Due to a technical glitch some Underwood fans got a sneak peak," says a representative for Netflix. "He'll be back on Netflix on Feb 27. #no spoilers"

The 'House of Cards' Twitter account poked fun at the situation with tweeting:

"This is Washington. There's always a leak. All 13 episodes will launch February 27."

Fans will get to see the power-hungry Frank Underwood in all his presidential glory within the next two weeks.

With the news of the leak, the show may even cultivate a bigger audience, on top of their actors' recent exposure on the Golden Globes.

"Kevin Spacey, who stars in the series as Machiavellian politician Frank Underwood, won a 2015 Golden Globe for lead actor in a TV drama. Robin Wright, who plays his spouse Claire Underwood, took home the Golden Globe for best actress in a TV drama last year," writes Variety.
